A key component of the Plan4Health project is to conduct an assessment of health and planning efforts across the state to understand challenges and opportunities specific to New Mexico, and to highlight key assets, local initiatives, and best practices.


We are happy to release results of this assessment, which contains an overview of the initiative as it relates to New Mexico, an evaluation of the current work being done by planners and public health professionals, case studies, and recommendations on how to advance the integration of planning and public health in NM.
